Nicholas Karamyshev won both races of the third stage ETCC, which took place on 24-25 May in Salzburg, Austria. A year earlier, Nicholas Karamyshev already participated in races ETCC, but failed to show good results at the Salzburgring, so this season it was important to finish as high as possible. And exercise has shown that there is a chance, by pure speed racer slightly ahead of their rivals. In qualifying Nicholas became the fastest, but a few hours after arrival, the judges annulled the results of the Russians: his car was 600 grams lighter weight mandatory. Therefore, in the first race Karamyshev had to start from 25th place. Despite starting from the tail of the peloton, Nikolai quickly able to pass more than a dozen competitors and be in the top 10. And at the ninth round of the twelve designated on race, Karamyshev already passed and in the lead at that point Slovak Mato Homola. For the remaining three with a small circle of Russian only to increase the gap and finished first. In the second race, Nikolai started eighth, and held opponents to him was even easier. So he again beat Homola and took the lead in the race, which also kept to the finish. With two victories Karamyshev scored 20 points. Nicholas heads the protocol (54 points) in the standings Super 2000 TC2T, far ahead of his rivals. Closest to the Russian Igor Skuz yet scored 40 points. Another Russian, taking part in the Super 2000 TC2T, Mikhail Grachev did not come to the third stage ETCC, since the same dates passed the first round of the Russian series circuit racing. Fourth stage ETCC will be held June 21-22 at the Belgian Spa.
